Sanders was initiated into the Fraternity on Sept. 9, 2015, and was elected Consul of his chapter shortly afterward. Following the 2016 Balfour Leadership Training Workshop, he was selected to serve on the Education and Leadership Board for the following school year. Since wrapping up his term as Consul, he has been elected to serve his chapter as its recruitment chairman, Derby Days co-chairman, and assistant Magister. He has served as his school's Greek-letter council's scholarship officer, Interfraternity Council president and the American Advertising Federation's director of events and vice-president of internal affairs. On his campus, he was named the 2017 Greek Leader of the Year out of all fraternity men. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, with a focus in marketing management.
